Nous avons le plaisir d'annoncer la participation remarquée du Parc National de Conkouati Douli à la première édition de Nabemba Tourism Expo (NTE), qui s'est tenu à Brazzaville du 18 au 20 novembre 2025. Cet événement a marqué une étape majeure dans la valorisation du tourisme national à l’échelle régionale.

Le Nabemba Tourism Expo 2025, organisée par Wild Safari Tours, en partenariat avec l’Office de Promotion de l’Industrie Touristique (OPIT) et sous le haut patronage du Ministère de l’Industrie Culturelle, Touristique, Artistique et des Loisirs, a réuni durant trois jours les acteurs clés du tourisme national et régional, offrant une plateforme dynamique d'échanges, de rencontres professionnelles et de découvertes culturelles. Axé sur la valorisation du riche patrimoine naturel et culturel du Congo (le thème choisi pour cette toute première édition a été : « le tourisme interne, enjeux et défis »), le salon a mis en lumière les efforts du pays pour développer un tourisme vert, responsable et durable. C'était l'occasion idéale pour le Parc de présenter ses initiatives de conservation et ses offres d'écotourisme.

L'assistant du département touristique du Parc National, Presly Malonga, a brillamment représenté l'aire protégée durant ce salon. Sa participation a clairement démontré le fort engagement du Parc dans le développement d'un écotourisme durable et responsable, en parfaite adéquation avec les directives nationales prônant un « tourisme vert ».

Cet engagement s'aligne sur le principe de la qualité plutôt que de la quantité, souvent résumé par la formule « less is more ». Il s'agit de privilégier des expériences touristiques de haute valeur environnementale et sociale, avec un faible impact, tout en maximisant les bénéfices pour la conservation et les communautés locales.

Le moment fort de cette participation a été l'intervention de l'assistant du département touristique lors d'un panel interactif de haut niveau. Il a eu l'honneur de partager la tribune avec des personnalités éminentes, notamment Son Excellence Madame la Ministre de l'Économie Forestière, Rosalie Matondo, et en présence de Son Excellence Madame la Ministre de l’Industrie Culturelle, Touristique, Artistique et des Loisirs, Lydie Pongault. Cette présence institutionnelle a souligné l'importance accordée par l'État à la protection des ressources naturelles et au rôle des parcs nationaux dans l'économie verte.

La participation du Parc National de Conkouati Douli à des événements d'une telle envergure est indispensable. Elle permet non seulement de faire connaître le nom de Conkouati à l'échelle régionale, mais aussi de positionner le Parc comme une destination écotouristique de premier choix

Ce type de visibilité est crucial pour espérer un développement responsable et fructueux des activités touristiques. En attirant des visiteurs qui partagent notre vision d'un tourisme respectueux de l'environnement et des communautés, le Parc consolide sa stratégie pour un avenir où conservation et développement économique vont de pair.

the Nabemba Tourism Expo

The very first edition of the Nabemba Tourism Expo gave a tremendous boost to the promotion of Congolese tourism. The Conkouati Douli National Park took center stage brilliantly, captivating visitors with the richness of its landscapes and the strength of its commitment to conservation. A highlight that confirms the growing importance of the park on the national tourism scene.

We are pleased to announce the participation of the Conkouati Douli National Park in the first edition of the Nabemba Tourism Expo (NTE), held in Brazzaville from 18 to 20 November 2025. This event marked a major milestone in promoting national tourism at the regional level.

The 2025 Nabemba Tourism Expo, organized by Wild Safari Tours in partnership with the Office for the Promotion of the Tourism Industry (OPIT) and under the high patronage of the Ministry of Cultural, Tourism, Artistic and Leisure Industries, brought together over three days the key actors of national and regional tourism. It provided a dynamic platform for exchange, professional networking, and cultural discovery. Focused on showcasing Congo’s rich natural and cultural heritage—under the theme chosen for this very first edition, “Domestic tourism: issues and challenges”—the Expo highlighted the country’s efforts to develop green, responsible, and sustainable tourism. It was the ideal opportunity for the Park to present its conservation initiatives and ecotourism offerings.

Presly Malonga, Assistant to the Tourism Department of the National Park, represented the protected area with distinction throughout the event. His participation clearly demonstrated the Park’s strong commitment to developing sustainable and responsible ecotourism, fully aligned with national directives promoting “green tourism.”

This commitment reflects the principle of quality over quantity, often summarised by the expression “less is more.” It is about prioritising high-value environmental and social tourism experiences, with low impact, while maximising the benefits for conservation and local communities.

The highlight of this participation was the intervention of the Tourism Department Assistant during a high-level interactive panel. He had the honour of sharing the stage with prominent figures, including Her Excellency the Minister of Forest Economy, Rosalie Matondo, and in the presence of Her Excellency the Minister of Cultural, Tourism, Artistic and Leisure Industries, Lydie Pongault. This institutional presence underscored the importance placed by the State on the protection of natural resources and the role of national parks in the green economy.

The participation of the Conkouati Douli National Park in events of such scale is essential. It not only helps bring the name Conkouati to the regional stage but also positions the Park as a leading ecotourism destination.

This type of visibility is crucial to fostering responsible and fruitful tourism development. By attracting visitors who share our vision of environmentally respectful and community-oriented tourism, the Park strengthens its strategy for a future where conservation and economic development go hand in hand.
